The Miller Centre is a local Theatre located within the heart of Caterham Valley. It has been home to a myriad of plays and shows entertaining audiences since its opening in 1977.
The Miller Centre is a registered charity and more than just a theatre, it is a gathering place, cherished by locals as a hidden gem within the community.
At the heart of The Miller Centre's success lies its state-of-the-art facilities, it’s comfortable 186 seat auditorium and a dynamic and varied program of excellent productions held throughout the year. The theatre also doubles as an occasional cinema, showcasing a mix of timeless classics and the latest blockbusters.
If you fancy treading the boards yourself, auditions are open to all. There are also opportunities for individuals to contribute their talents behind the scenes, from lighting and sound to wardrobe, set design and front of house.
During the day, The Miller Centre Club is a friendly meeting place for members who have volunteered to help with the Centre. There are a wide range of interests and activities for members to get involved with such as Book Clubs, Bridge, Miller Moviemakers, Poetry, Painting, Scrabble, Table Tennis, Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga.
In addition, Coffee Mornings are held every Friday at 11:00am and are open to anyone interested in more information about the Miller Centre Club.
For the younger generation, The Miller Centre Young Players offers an enriching youth theatre experience, focusing on various acting techniques and putting on performances.
