If there happens to be an area of your garden that doesn’t look great no matter what you do, then you should consider screening! This will help hide things such as, bins or perhaps a compost heap. Another option is using willow, this is easy to install and will give your garden an instant facelift.

Barbecues, lounger cushions and children’s toys can cause the garden to look over cluttered. You could consider getting a storage to keep these things in when they are not being used.

Pot plants

Are you not particularly green fingered? Don’t assume that you’ll live without the colour and texture that plants can bring to your garden. Ready planted hanging baskets or pre-planted containers will liven up your outside space, particularly in the summer. Make sure you find a nice place to put them and keep them watered.

New furniture

Getting new garden furniture is one of the quickest ways to add a luxury look to your outside space. It doesn’t just have to be patio table and chairs, you could look into lounge style garden chairs and sofas too! These are all perfect for making your garden look fantastic and relaxing throughout those summer days.

Fake it

If you are lacking some grass then artificial turf is a simple yet effective way of making your garden look great in no time. You can pick up a roll of artificial turf from your local garden centre. It’s reasonable priced and gives your garden a fun summer makeover.

Most of us tend to think about how our garden looks during the day, but lighting can make it possible to see your garden during the evening. If you’re thinking of entertaining in the evenings, then you could invest in an outdoor heater and lights. Alternatively, adding spotlighting to the garden will be perfect for dinner parties and barbeques.

Pressure wash

Dirt builds up slowly on patios, decked and paved areas. A deep clean will often make a huge difference to the overall appearance of your garden. You can even hire a pressure washer to make this task much easier and quicker and the results are definitely worth it!

By following these tips, your garden will be ready for the summer months!
