SITUATION: Court Lodge Barn is situated a short distance from the historic small town of Westerham which is situated at the edge of the North Downs and is famed for its association with General Wolfe of Quebec and Winston Churchill. Chartwell, on the outskirts of Westerham was Churchill's home and is now a National Trust property. Quebec House in Westerham town was the home of General Wolfe and contains many of his treasures. The town offers many shops including a Post Office, supermarket, restaurants and an hotel. DIRECTIONS: From the centre of Oxted take the A25 signposted Westerham. Once in the centre of Westerham turn left at Market Square (just before the village green) into London Road (A233), proceed along this road and once you see the petrol station on your left had side slow down, turn left at the first entrance and immediately left back on yourself onto the private lane leading to the property which will be found on your right hand side.
